Cubs with pan in background

Sherry and I have just returned from a trip to southern Africa, including Etosha. While in Etosha we were able to once again photograph the Patricia pride cubs (not really cubs anymore) We've posted previous photos of these guys as little ones, well they are now between 2.5 and 3 years old and quite large. We think it unlikely that the pride males including stubby will allow the males to stay around the house much longer. We'll look again in March and let you know. The photos are quite nice in that we were able to photograph them with the pan in the background and the light all but perfect. We were alone which adds to the moment!

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information. It takes quite a lot to impress me but I really feel that this book, which was 7 years in the making, is exceptional."            - Janey Coetzee, founder of CAROK (Camps and Roads of Kruger)  South Africa
