View from Tshanga Lookout

There are a few places in the Kruger park with great views of the veld and plains below, such as Nkumbe, Olifants and Shirimantanga. These are all in the south or central Kruger so for the northern Kruger Tshanga is the place for great views. The area is unfenced so keep a lookout for predators when you're there!

This must be the beest-kept secret in the Kruger Park. We have often seen people on the SANParks forums asking where are the best views in the Kruger and most answers are Nkumbe, Bobbejaan Krans etc. but not many people know about Tshanga. Nice picture!

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information.
