Duke

Saw Duke while staying at Croc. Bridge in 2006. He must be one of the best sightings i have had in the park. Can you please let me know if he is still alive as i have been told he is dead.

Super Kruger 'Big-Tusker' photograph!
by: Mario

Hi Trevor - this is a great picture of Duke - You are very lucky to have seen and photographed one of the big tuskers! I know Duke broke his left tusk then the right. The last I heard (December 2009) he was still alive - I will try to find out.

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information.
