Roan

Roan

The Roan is one of the rare sightings in the Kruger - they are found mainly in the north of the park around Punda Maria and Sirheni. We saw this one along the S56 Mphongolo loop road.

Hi Brigit

Thanks for sharing your great sighting. Roan are so special to me because you hardly ever see them and when you do it tends to be a wow.

Wow… That is indeed an amazing frame. I really love the way you have captured the Roan Antelope. I know how hard it is to sight a Roan in Kruger. You could have uploaded other images too.
