KGALAGADI WITH FRIENDS

- October 2016

Done and dusted! Unfair that time should fly by so quickly!

We had a wonderful trip from 7-15 October 2016 during which we visited the following camps:-

* 8-9 October 2016 : Kieliekrankie
* 10-11 October 2016 : Urikaruus
* 12-14 October 2016 : Mata Mata
* 15 October 2016 : Twee Rivieren

During our stay at Urikaruus, we were fortunate to see Barolong twice on 11 October 2016. As you are aware, Barolong was bitten by a snake and was found dead at Rooibrak on 23 October 2016.

The sighting of Barolong was only our second leopard sighting in KTP!

This trip was supposed to happen the same time as the visit of the 'Bloodhound'. Due to their budget constraints it will now only happen during 2017.

We are very much looking forward to our October 2017 trip with our neighbours, Etienne & Carmen Pohl. Once again we will make some appointments with 'Mr Le Roux', ie Mr JC le Roux!

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information. It takes quite a lot to impress me but I really feel that this book, which was 7 years in the making, is exceptional."            - Janey Coetzee, founder of CAROK (Camps and Roads of Kruger)  South Africa
