Barking Gecko

You can hear them everynight but can you see them?! We were really frustrted as we wanted to get a photograph of these noisy dudes but they seemed to come out after dark only. Then one day we looked over the wall at our tent and saw him, luckily we had our camera with us as he did not stick around!

Kalahari ground gecko?
by: Alan

Hey Charles - nice photo but I don't think this is a barking gecko. The barking gecko has a round black eye that protrudes from its head. This could be the Kalahari Ground Gecko - maybe someone else can provide some more info?
