...as you said, he will be missed.

I assume the leopard was in the camp in order to catch Shine, which is a lesson for us visitors to be alert at all times!

Shine the loving, curious duiker who has made many a fond memory for hordes of Shimuwini renters was taken by a resident leopard in 2015.

He will be missed.

That little Duiker is so cute!

We remember Shine - she's been at Shimuwini for a few years. Frank, the old camp manager, found her abandoned in the bush and he brought her back to the camp where she's lived ever since.
