The slowest snake on the planet

The slowest snake on the planet

This snake was moving for no one! We were driving from Nossob to Grootkolk when he started to cross the road in front of us. We nearly ran over him but he wasn't perturbed - he just carried on at his own leasurely pace. When we arrived at Grootkolk there was a Cape Cobra waiting for us but that's another story!

The snake on the picture doesn’t look like a snake - normally, the snakes are horrific, the very sight of them makes you shiver but since this snake is slow, we don’t have to fear them at all!

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information.
