The Nossob river road is still closed for repairs so we traversed the Auob and found many lovely birds to photograph.

Blood red!

That bird has a BLOOD RED colored torso, or whatever you call that part of a bird. Can’t take my eyes off it. Does this thing make cute sounds? It’s not very big is it?
