Nile Crocodile

We photographed this croc from our bungalow in Sirheni camp. He was gliding up and down catching fish - he had just swallowed a large fish when we took this photo.

Wild life in Southern Africa
by: Anonymous

This is the beauty of wild life in Southern Africa! The Mphongolo river in the Kruger Park must be home to one of the largest crocodile populations in the world and watching them must be very interesting.

It is a magnificent sight to watch crocodiles gliding in the river. I never have got the opportunity to see them hunting but have fed some when I have visited a crocodile park some time before. But seeing them hunt in their natural habitat is something different.

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information.
