Room for rent Cullinan style.

For the last two nights of our visit through the Kalahari during March 2012 we stayed over at Cullinan Guest farm near MCcarthys rest. We normally use this two days at the end of our trip to unwind and prepare for the journey back home.

At Cullinan guest farm we opted to sleep over in the bush camp. Rustic with Rondavil style accommodation, reed and clay walls with natural floor. Separate showers and ablution available and Galvanized tub en suite. A small waterhole behind the accommodation has a continuous stream of birds visiting throughout the day and warthog as well.Regular of the hosts is to bring over a hot bread straight out of the oven the night before departure and to just chat.

Early morning out and on our way home.
Will post some more photos of sightings in the park at future dates.

Look out for our March 2014 visit.

"It's 768 pages of the most amazing information. It consists of, well, everything really. Photography info...area info...hidden roads..special places....what they have seen almost road by road. Where to stay just outside the Park...camp information. It takes quite a lot to impress me but I really feel that this book, which was 7 years in the making, is exceptional."            - Janey Coetzee, founder of CAROK (Camps and Roads of Kruger)  South Africa
